Established in 2013, The Vision For Innovation Academy, Inc. (VIA), is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. VIA seeks to empower and support students at the Innovation Academy Charter School to succeed in college and beyond by providing fulfillment of initiatives that support them to meet 21st Century challenges and their highest potential.
With an eye to the future, VIA undertakes collaborations, partnerships and advancement opportunities which support the belief in innovation and the unique mission of the Innovation Academy Charter School.
The VIA Corporate Council: The purpose of the VIA Corporate Advisory Council is to gather a group of corporate community leaders and experts to advise the VIA governing board in matters of collaboration, partnership, and expansion initiatives. In addition, the VIA Corporate Advisory Council will appoint members to review, advise and assist in preparing grant proposals and applications for consideration by the VIA Board of Directors. Members of the Corporate Advisory Council serve on an ad hoc basis to review strategic proposals, assist in the development of initiatives and/or provide skills and knowledge beneficial to our nonprofit organization.Members shall have flexibility to commit time and counsel upon request and will follow conflict of interest and confidentiality policies. Council members will not have a governing or voting authority with the organization, but will make collective recommendations to the Innovation Academy Head of School who communicates with the VIA Board of Directors.
Grant Opportunities: The Board of Directors for VIA welcome your contacts and suggestions for foundation and/or corporate grant opportunities. Our nonprofit organization meets all 501(c)3 requirements and is always seeking general purpose, program specific and/or operating support grant proposal requests and opportunities. If you know of a prospective grant that matches the mission and vision of the Innovation Academy Charter School, please contact us to share your ideas. If you would be interested in serving on a volunteer basis to assist us in the preparation and/or review of grant opportunities, please contact us to become involved.
Simply stated, the mission of Vision For Innovation Academy, Inc., (VIA), is to seek funds to support the initiatives and priorities of the Innovation Academy Charter School.
